my script for when someone wants to pay you

Okay, I know I said “no templates” before, but honestly… I’ve been MASSIVELY helped by sample scripts to help keep my energy in check when talking to someone who wants to pay me.

Because it is an energetic game, always—and these conversations turn the level to Hard Mode for most of us.

We get in our head about “asking for money”

We come up with reasons why we don’t deserve to be compensated

Old baggage comes up about money being yucky and corrupt, instead of a crucial input to our ability to have impact in the world

And so on.

When you’re starting out, having some lines in your back pocket to draw upon is a game changer, AS LONG AS the script:

- Reminds you that your goal is to be maximally of service

- Helps you focus on the other person’s dreams, and how you might be able to help

- Makes it easy for you to be direct about how to help, so the person has an opportunity to say “fuck yes!”

- Keeps you aligned with how valuable and profound your work is

- Does not resort to pressure tactics or other non-consensual sales crap

This script is great for folks talking to potential clients of any kind who could benefit from your creative gifts.

I give away everything for free. I just don’t want this special sauce floating around randomly on the internet.

If you want the training and script for INVITING YOUR PEOPLE TO WORK WITH YOU, reply to this email with “me!” and I’ll send it over.

Congratulations. You’ve just converted intuition, into inspiration, into revenue. If you’ve been following this series from the beginning, you’re officially a professional artist monetizing their creative lifestyle—with highly predictable income.

And yet… we have a whole ‘nother funnel left to go.

When your goal is to live a deeply creative life, revenue is just a means to an end.

Next I’ll walk you through the methods I use in my program to fully self-actual use: using the world’s most powerful weapon—honed creativity—to create the impact you were destined to have, and can no longer ignore.

Love,

Becca
