my career disillusionment started early.

“I don’t want to put my name on this.” I remember thinking this about every company I worked for.

Keep in mind that at this point in my life, I had little experience, no accolades, the bare beginnings of a network, and no platform yet.

But nevertheless. I knew on some level that the people I was working for didn’t meet my bar for who I wanted to be collaborating with.

Even though they had write ups in TechCrunch.

Or millions of followers.

Or had raised shit tons of money from top-tier venture capitalists.

I wasn’t ever going to hustle for them. My heart would never be in it. You wouldn’t catch me drumming up support from my friends; I wasn’t going to cross-post about the company from my personal accounts.

On some deep instinctual level, I didn’t want a real association with them.

AND I WAS RIGHT NOT TO.

They went on to crash and burn because despite dazzling mainstream VCs, they didn’t have the emotional capacity to lead.

They didn’t understand the value of creativity—not theirs, and certainly not mine.

They were little man-babies who talked their way into a slot at TED.

Some even committed LITERAL CRIMES, because their ego and ethics were so warped.

Guys, it would be weird if you WEREN’T disillusioned with your tech career right now. You aren’t the crazy one.

I am DYING to convince you that you can replace your corporate income with profits from the skills you CURRENTLY have, and the creativity that’s been waiting for its time in the spotlight.

The methods I use to help experienced leaders monetize their creative gifts are really straightforward.

Over a period of six months, we address three points of leverage:

1. Converting your creative INTUITION into INSPIRATION that launches you out of bed each morning

2. Converting your INSPIRATION into REVENUE that creates time freedom for the exact lifestyle you want

3. Converting that REVENUE into IMPACT—the only metric that matters to your creative spirit. You now have an audience that’s invested in you; lead them wisely as an artist and creator.

Intuition > Inspiration > Revenue > Impact > Realizing your life’s vision.

I’ll be going deeper into each step in this week’s emails, and getting super real about how my last 6 months has led to some majorly life-disrupting truths.

Don’t miss it.

Love,
Becca
